Saturday was busy. The boys and David dug out the plot for the garden. Andrew’s seeds are doing really well and will be ready to plant in two weeks.
The gladiolas are a foot tall now. It’s amazing how fast they grow. Dad and I put up some bird feeders and David and the boys put up the birdhouse Dad brought us.
What a fun day. We celebrated David’s birthday with a fresh baked German Chocolate cake. Since the fire we don’t use real candles so we put some flameless tea lights on the cake. We have used his birthday gift twice the past few days. It is a smoker/grill. Yum.
It is good for the children to make good memories with their grandparents. The wisdom they provide is priceless.
